Centering justice in the convergence of sciences, communities, and actions

We chose the theme of Centering Justice in the Convergence of Sciences, Communities, and Actions for the Rising Voices 9 theme to emphasize the importance of centering justice in collaborations between Indigenous and Earth sciences as these collaborations contribute to scientific efforts, community capacities, and actions for more sustainable and regenerative futures in response to climate change. “Convergence science” conveys the idea of many disciplines and many ways of knowing coming together to create a whole that is larger than the sum of its parts.
